LinkWise 2000 -
GroupWise 5.x/6.0 only. Installation file (lw2000gw5.exe) updated,
which is available from our Downloads page.
This update uses a new, faster technique to access GroupWise calendar items and
which also resolves the hang problem when operating with the GroupWise
Enhancement Pack client in remote mode. The new calendar access method
should also resolve the rare problem where the synchronization process appears
to hang when reading the Appointments from GroupWise. |

LinkWise 2000 -
GroupWise 5.x only. An updated installation, lw2000gw5.exe, is
available from our Downloads page. This
release fixes a bug where the presence of extended characters in the name,
address(s) and organization fields could cause certain fields not to be
transferred to GroupWise. (To ensure accurate synchronization,
extended characters should NOT be used in phone, fax or email address
fields). |

Renamed LinkWise Plugin for PsiWin 2.3 to LinkWise
2000 - Novell GroupWise Edition. |
| 1 Sep 1999 |
LinkWise Plugin for
PsiWin 2.3. Updated GroupWise 4.1a (alwp460.exe) and 5.x
(alwp560.exe) installation files. Prior to installing a synchronizer
engine patch file, synch.dll version 5.0.0.95, the installation
program (version 6.01) performs an initial check for the existence of the
original release PsiWin 2.3 (EPOC Connect 5) 'synch.dll' file, version
5.0.0.93. This updated version of the installation does not log the updating of
synch.dll, thus prevents the removal of the synch.dll
file during the plug-in uninstallation process. If you uninstall
LinkWise Plugin for PsiWin 2.3 using the previous version of the plug-in
installation file (version 6.00), the EPOC
Connect 5.0 'synch.dll' file will be removed. To correct this
situation, you will need to reinstall your copy of EPOC Connect, which will
restore the original 'synch.dll' file. |

LinkWise Plugin for
PsiWin 2.2 - GroupWise 4.1a only. The initial release of the
GroupWise 4.1a plug-in for PsiWin 2.2 installation program does not correctly
initialize the 'c:\windows\alwpi.ini' file. As a result, the path to the
GroupWise 4.1a macro facility, 'mfwin20.exe', is not written correctly into the
INI file and the macro processing never executes during synchronization.
This results in the plug-in just sitting idle at the 'Reading GroupWise
Appointments...... This may take a few moments' stage. For a solution to
this problem and further information, please refer to the
LinkWise plug-in FAQ entry
[faq33.htm]. You can download an updated ini file here:alwpi.ini. |

LinkWise Plugin for PsiWin
2.1. mlbrowse.exe is a
self-extracting ZIP file containing the English version of the PsiWin 2.1 file
browse control. This file fixes the GPF, which occurs with the PsiWin
2.1 multilingual (non-English) versions only, when you attempt to browse
for a target file while setting up a PsiWin synchronization task. To
install the update, run mlbrowse.exe to
extract the file ecfile.ocx, which should be copied over the existing
file in the PsiWin 2.1 program directory, usually 'c:\program
files\Psion\PsiWin'. |
| 7 Nov 1998 |
LinkWise Plugin for PsiWin 2.1 -
GroupWise 4.1a only. The setup41u.exe update fixes the situation where
an indeterminate task start date occurs in GroupWise when a previously
unsynchronized Psion todo is added in the past (prior to today's
date) and is then synchronized with GroupWise.
setup41u.exe is a self-extracting ZIP file
containing an updated GroupWise task handling macro, ngw41a.wcm.
To install the update, run setup41u.exe to extract the file
ngw41a.wcm, which should be copied over the existing file in the
LinkWise plug-in program directory, usually 'c:\alwpi'. |

LinkWise Plugin for PsiWin 2.1 -
GroupWise 5.x only. Update provided to include the C3PO code update
issued by Novell. This prevents startup and Windows shutdown problems
with 32-bit GroupWise 5.x clients when running in client/server mode (IP
to the Post Office). The GroupWise 5.x version of the LinkWise Plugin for
PsiWin 2.1 trialware installation program available on the
Downloads page has been updated to include this
change. |

LinkWise Plugin for PsiWin 2.1 - GroupWise
5.x only. Contact synchronization update for the GroupWise 5.x
32-bit Windows client version of the LinkWise Plugin for PsiWin 2.1. This
'contacts' release of the plug-in requires Psion PsiWin version
2.1 to operate. Added GroupWise 32-bit Windows client integration
C3PO option, which provides GroupWise button bar and menu access to Psion
Series 5 synchronization and backup services. |
