I am seeing the exact same issue with Formativ version 2, Groupwise 6.5.1.

I’m trying to import CSV information into a new Groupwise address book. The original CSV file contained many thousands of entries, so I split the file into multiple CSV files, each with about a thousand entries. I still am unable to import the information into an address book without Groupwise eating up all of the available memory on the machine. In task manager, you can watch memory usage grow and grow, as if there’s a leak. I left it running overnight, and when I came in this morning Groupwise was holding over 1GB of memory. I had to end the task, and the import was only partially complete.

Without Formative/CSV import running, Groupwise uses about 20MB of memory, and it is quite stable. It’s only with the formative applet running that I see these symptoms.

(I had to import CSV information a couple of years back on Formativ 1.6, and I had the exact same problem.)

Memory usage returns to normal as soon as Groupwise is killed from the task bar, and remains normal until I try to restart the CSV import again.
