      We have received a few reports about exporting message properties from GroupWise 8.0.1 (build number: 88138, build date: 8/26/2009):

      • The GroupWise client hangs or closes unexpectedly.
      • A ‘ntdll.dll’ error message appears. This happens when saving a large batch of messages.

      The behavior occurs when a third-party application like Archive To Go uses the GroupWise Token API to access the message property text of a GroupWise message. We cannot reproduce this behavior in GroupWise 7.0.3, and have reported this issue to Novell.

      GroupWise 8.0.1 includes many improvements on previous versions. If you do not consider the message properties text to be critical, we recommend that you use 8.0.1, and on the General Options screen of Creator, uncheck the box ‘Include message property information’.

        This problem should be resolved with the release of GroupWise 8.0.1 HP1. We will confirm once our test results are in.

          I am running GW 8.0.1 HP1 and confirm that GW did not quit unexpectedly when running as it did when running GroupWise 8.0.1 build number: 88138.
