      I installed formativ runtime client on a Windows 98 computer with Groupwise 6. When running any applet a message similar to the following appears: “Formativ Applet Runtime error – ActiveX component can’t create ‘scripting.FileSystem.Object’ at line 69,column 2”. I tried installing the Admin Client and got the same errors. The applets work fine on other computers.

        The FileSystemObject component appears to be missing or disabled. This component is not installed by Formativ and is assumed to be already installed and accessible. This explains why the problem is machine specific.

        Have you tried reinstalling MS Internet Explorer 5.5 or above?
