Stationery will not read NDS

Have installed Formativ Runtime 2.0 and the Stationery Solution. I installed on a computer that had Formativ 1.6 runtime which I let the install automatically remove. We have never configured Formativ to work with NDS, we have always set everything up on the local computers. When I start the applet, I get the message that one or more NDAP Activex contols cannot be created and that NDS fields will not be available.

What do we have to do to fix this?

Just found the answer below. The activeX controls had to be manually registered. It is working now.

Thank you for the update. I am glad to hear that you got the ActiveX controls working.

Earlier versions of these controls would be registered automatically on installation. As I expect you discovered, you have to run the utility “Register Controls” with the current version if you want the controls registered.

I will ensure that the documentation for Stationery is updated to include a reminder about this change.
