How to hide Formativ System Tray Icon ? – Advansys

hello,

we would hide the System Tray Icon. We can´t find this options in config.ini.

How we can customizing this?

Dear Schoerch,

Thank you for your enquiry.

The Formativ icon in the Windows taskbar tray is used to:
- indicate that applet recording is under way (Formativ Creator, Formativ Studio);
- terminate an executing applet.
It can be removed by deleting the file:
```
  formativ.exe
```
in the Formativ installation directory, eg:
```
  C:Program FilesAdvansysFormativ
```
We do not expect that there would be any ill effects from deleting this file. However, Advansys cannot guarantee that this will be true for all future releases of Formativ.

but it would be nice if there is a possibility to implement a silent switch to the future realeses !
