Hi, I hope you can help me: I’ve installed runtime 2.0 and Message Saver Pack 1.3 for trial test.
In registration utility I read “there are 30 days of the trial period remaining” in both software but when I click over “Formativ save as” button in my GroupWise 5.5 Client, an error message say approximately “sorry your M.S. Flexalock is expired”…why?
Thank you in advance for your answer -

Thank you for your enquiry.
To resolve this problem we need more information about your GroupWise/Formativ installation. Could you post your Formativ configuration here, or in an email to support@advansyscorp.com ?
You can obtain the configuration by selecting Help | About Formativ… from the GroupWise main menu. When the About Formativ dialog appears, go to the Configuration tab and click the button Copy to clipboard. Then paste the text into your email message body.
We hope to hear from you again soon.

February 1, 2005 at 3:04 pm #8704Thank you for sending the Formativ configuration. It indicates that you have no Solution Packs installed, which is incorrect (you have installed Message Saver Pack).
I suspect that something has gone wrong during the installation. Could you try reinstalling the Pack? First uninstall it by going to Windows Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Advansys Formativ Message Saver Pack. Then install again, and try saving messages.
I look forward to hearing of your results.

I’ve reinstalled Message Saver Pack but nothing, there’s same error “sorry your M.S. Flexalock is expired”, please help me!
February 3, 2005 at 2:54 pm #8706I would suggest you uninstall both the Message Saver Pack and Formativ Runtime first.
Check to see that the following directory is empty: If not, delete (or rename) it:
‘C:DocumentiAdvansysFormativApplets’
I noticed the following paths in your config data:
AdvansysFormativ1.0Applets – (System)
AdvansysFormativ1.0Data – (System)
C:ProgrammiAdvansysFormativHelp – (System)
AdvansysFormativ1.0System – (System)The only one with a drive letter designation is ‘C:ProgrammiAdvansysFormativHelp’. I don’t know why the others simply start with ‘Advansys’, but I suspect this may be a problem. It looks like the standard common application data folder location could not be determined during installation. These locations are determined by calling a standard function that is part of Windows. I have not heard of any problems with the locations of these foldering being determine on Windows 98SE before. I suspect you may have a problem with your installation of Windows 98SE.
The only suggestion I can make at this time might be to install the latest version of Internet Explorer, and all available service packs, then try installing Formativ Runtime again. This process may install/update the system components required to allow the determination of these locations to be made. You would know if this worked by checking your Formativ configuration again – all the paths under ‘Location of Files’ should start with a drive letter.
I hope this helps.
