Viewer error: Invalid unicode character

We’re migrating 400 users out of GroupWise 7.0.1, and we licensed Archive To Go 1.5.0.1 for all of them. All are running on Windows XP Pro SP2, with all current patches.

Some of them are running into a problem: An A2G archive is created fine with Creator, but when they go to use the archive, they get the error message: Cannot load file:
<path to file>/media-01/_metadata/00000014.xml
[0xC00CE51F] line 1437, position 87: Invalid unicode character

The error happens exactly twice, at different lines and positions, and the Viewer closes.
