Anytime that I use the Stationary feature of the presentation pack I will recieve the follwoing error:
The instruction at “0x02d443a6” referenced memory at “0x03fda3a4”. The memory could not be “read”, Click OK to terminate the program. If I click the “OK” button you will receive yet another error stating:
Runtime error 216 at 02D443A6. And it becomes a vicious cycle of errors. You have to EndTask for GroupWise in order for the errors to stop poping up.
I am running GW6.5 SP2 client. with the latest runtime verison available. Have others been experiencing this issue?

I am not aware of other reports of the problem you describe with Stationery. Could you provide some more information about the behaviour, as follows?
- The instruction at “0x02d443a6” referenced memory at “0x03fda3a4”. The memory could not be “read”, Click OK to terminate the program. I think this text appears on a dialog. What is the text in the dialog caption (the top bar)?
- Runtime error 216 at 02D443A6. I think this text appears on a dialog. What is the text in the dialog caption (the top bar)?
- Does the error occur when using any other solution in the Presentation Pack?
- Does the error occur on other machines while using the same GroupWise login account?
- Does the error occur while using a different GroupWise login account on the same machine?
- What anti-virus software (product & version) are installed?
I hope to hear from you soon.

* Yes this occurs on every solution in the Presentation pack

Does the error occur on other machines while using the same GroupWise login account?
* I am the only one in our office that I am aware of that has purchased these products.

Does the error occur while using a different GroupWise login account on the same machine?
* This is the only account on this machine

What anti-virus software (product & version) are installed?
* McAfee Enterprise VirusScan 8.0i
If I do not use any of the Presentation pack features I will have no issues when shutting down GroupWise. This only happens when I shutdown GW after using one of the presentation pack features.
October 13, 2004 at 7:55 pm #8659Thank you for clarifying your GroupWise system and its behavior.
It turns out that two other Formativ users (worldwide) have experienced a similar problem. Unfortunately we do not have an immediate solution. Our engineers are working to pinpoint the problem source, which may be a Formativ or third-party software component.
It is also possible that anti-virus software causes the error, either directly or indirectly. You may wish to try Michael6767’s solution posted previously to this forum.
We may be in need of your help to gather more information; if so, we will contact you by direct email.
If anyone else reading this thread has seen a similar error, please send an email to support@advansyscorp.com .

October 14, 2004 at 8:21 am #8662Well I tried Michaels6767’s solution and that does not work. I even disabled the on access scanning and I can still produce the error.

November 1, 2004 at 4:38 pm #8654AnonymousI see you are working on this problem. I have just downloaded the trial version for possible use in our office and get the exact same errors when exiting GW. I have almost the same config except I have 6.5.1 client.
November 1, 2004 at 7:32 pm #8656We have prepared a test update to Formativ Runtime 2.0 that should resolve this issue. You can download it from:
http://www.advansyscorp.com/beta/formativruntime.exe
Please let us know if this version fixes the problem for you.

December 3, 2004 at 3:33 pm #8658AnonymousI was evaluating this product and my 30 days ran out. I am trying to get another eval and I believe the fix will work for me as well since the problem was identical.
