Portals + Hard Return

Hello,

we use a formativ applet to implement our intranet pages directly into groupwise by using the portal manager ability. The problem is that there are many formular fields on these pages, for example on the telephonelist-page you have to type a name to return the phone number and so on. Our users prompt their input by using the enter key there. When doing this in a portal, formativ shows a popup which tells that “Shift + Enter” has to be used to insert hard returns. Is there any way to avoid this and use the normal enter method instead?

You need to press SHIFT+ENTER in the portal to insert a hard return. Its a known issue to Novell and they are hoping to fix it in GroupWise 8.
