Hide Formativ Menu in GW Client ?

Hello,

we need hide the Formativ Menu in the Groupwise Client. (all of Formativ Runtime not visible)

I can only hide this by disable “Formativ” Checkbox by the settings/global. The Ccheckbox “Can run applets from the Favorites Menu?” enabled automatically by starting Groupwise Client whenever the “Formativ” checkbox ist enabled.

How we can solve it and how we can this distribute?

I find out a workaround…

Edit registry HKCUsoftwareadv..Settigs “Menu caption” = “”. After this do not any save in the Formativ Control panel….

Can you fix that to a regulary checkbox in the next rumtime version?

e.g “disable Fromativ Menu”

You can determine how to hide Formativ as follows.

• Shut down GroupWise.
• Open the Formativ applet in the Windows Control Panel.
• On the Local Config tab, uncheck all items under Formativ Menu Appears in GroupWise if….
• On the Protocols tab, select Use local Applets only.
• Click OK.
• Restart GroupWise.
• Select Help | About Formativ… from the GroupWise main menu. When the About Formativ dialog appears, go to the Configuration tab. Find the item “Mode” under Client Options. Write down the value of “Mode”.

You can customize a ZENworks installation of Formativ to set Mode to the above value in the following Registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAdvansys Corporationformativ1.0Settings

You can also set the Formativ configuration for users with eDirectory. See the Formativ Studio documentation for details.
