Stationary enabled HTML messages with images being sent as attachments

We have installed the stationary pack 2.0.7 on our system for an evaluation using groupwise 7. However when images are used in the template created it does not display / embed them into inline HTML sent when viewed on “non-Groupwise” clients. It appears to be an issue with groupwise content-disposition type being stated as attachment. Could anyone shed some light on this.

Have you tried creating an equivalent HTML-format message manually, ie. without using Stationery, to send to a non-GroupWise client? To do so, you would use the GroupWise 7 composing message editor features to insert images inline.

We could not reproduce the behaviour in GroupWise 7.0.1B (build 2/17/2006). Here are the steps we performed:

– Create a mail message in GroupWise 7.0.1B client.
– Insert picture into the message body.
– Send the message to Gmail account.

Which non GroupWise client you are using? Please try the steps above and let us know whether you can view the embedded images.
