I am trying to publish the multiple signature applet using NDS. It shows up in the users GW client, however a dialog warning pops up that says it is part of a solution pack that has expired and will be disable.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you for enquiry.

It sounds like the manifest file for the solution pack has not been distributed to the user’s workstation. This must be done separate to the applet distribution.

I am guessing that you are using Formativ Studio 2.x. For more information on manifest file distribution, see the Users Guide, in the section Introduction | How to Register | Licence Files | Licence Files and the System Directory.

    I hope this helps you.

    That worked. Thanks

    However,

On some machines I am now receiving the following error message. It does not seem to keep the applet from running, but it does pop up twice when you hit the Multiple Signatures button.

    Dear Dav,

Thank you for your message above. Two quick questions: Are you athenticated to eDirectory when you see this error? Do you have the Novell eDirectory/NDS ActiveX controls installed (see the docs for additional information).

As a first step, I would try authenticating to NDS and see if the problem persists. I’ll also forward this to our engneering staff for comment.

In answer to your questions, yes, in all cases I am authenticated to the NDS and I do have the Novell Active X controls installed.

    Thanks,
    Dav

FYI: This issue was resolved by upgrading the Novell eDirectory/NDS ActiveX controls from version 2.0 to 2.2.
