Blocking out dates on the Calendar

What is the best way to block out dates on the calendar for all users?

I would like to be able to run an applet on all users that will import a list of holidays, and block them out so apointments aren’t scheduled on that day. It looks like the ‘Calendar Dates Importer’ gets us partway there, but doesn’t actually block out the day.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When I looked at the Import dates applet again I saw you can do apointments.

My question is how can I set this up to run on everyone and import dates from a text file, as appointments, without any user input?

The ‘Calendar Data Importer’ is a Business Solution Pack applet that would require some minor modifications to make it work the way you want.
