Two questions in one really.
We have had a company write some v2 applets for use to use, which I have been using Formativ Admin to edit/assign to the toolbar etc. We are now rolling out these applets to the users with Runtime and we have two issues with v2.0 beta.
1. How do I assign these applets to the toolbar or even run them on the users GW client?!? Runtime appears totally different from Admin in that there is only one option on the Applets menu which is Quick Config.
2. When using Admin the applets could be stored in C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataAdvansysFormativ1.0Applets available for every user that accessed that PC. In Runtime they have to be in C:Documents and SettingsUSERNAMEMy DocumentsAdvansysFormativApplets meaning that each different user who logs in doesn’t get the same applets.
Also the Runtime install seems to have to be done logged in as the user . Ie installing as administrator means that the Applet menu option doesn’t exist when logging in as a user even when selecting ‘all users have default settings’ on install. There also appears to be no reg entry that can be amended to force runtime to look in a certain directory.
Any suggestions on this? (Am I missing something completely obvious…?)
