Thanks to Graham in support for helping out with this!
The user who was having problems was creating his signatures with Notepad. He was giving the correct .SIG signature extension to the file, but Notepad was appending it’s “usual” .TXT after that. Unfortunately, the user had the option turned off to display known filename extensions in Explorer, so when I was looking at the file names, they looked OK to me.
Duh….!

The configuration info has been sent in a separate E-mail. Let me know if you come up with anything. Thanks!

(sorry about the delay – we’ve been fighting some viruses on this end…)
I guess my inclination is to have as much of the functionality available under a single profile as possible – otherwise I find you just spend lots of time switching back and forth between admin and developer profiles.
It would be nice if you could define which Formative “profile” you wanted to use (Runtime / Admin / Developer) in the startup dialog.

Ahhhh….OK, I finally saw the obsure <grin> mention of installing the Admin _or_ Developer in the User’s Guide. Is this something you’ll be fixing in the future?
Bill
FYI, I had an issue where I had to re-install the Admin piece after I revoked the R/W rights to the GroupWise client directory and the installation failed again during the DLL copy. You may want your folks working on the installer script to add that to conditions to watch out for on the next go-around.

Thanks, it will be just as easy to grant myself temporary access to the directory and then remove it again afterwards.
