Hi EsRichie,
Thanks for your message. In the Archive To Go search results screen, you should see a column marked “Folder” which identifies the item’s folder. Do you not see that column?
The columns available in the search results view are:
Subject
From
Date
Folder
Relevance
Attachment
SourceThe search results can be sorted by clicking on a column’s title.
With respect to selective search capabilities, yes, you can filter by folder name. To do this you use the Advanced Search techniques as outlined in the Archive To Go Viewer manual, which also lists the advanced query fields available, including “folder”.
To search for the word “test” in the folder “Old Sent Items” you would enter the following search query:
test AND folder:”Old Sent Items”
This will list all items with the word “test” in the “Old Sent Items” folder.

I hope the information above is of assistance.

March 10, 2013 at 4:29 pm in reply to: Outlook migration pack problem with email in attachment #9880Hi and thanks for your message. Unfortunately this behavior is a documented limitation of the free Personal Outlook Migration Pack and we do not currently have plans to upgrade the solution.

Hi Martin,
Thanks very much for the feedback and we’ll look into the issues you are reporting above.

Hi David,
We think our Attachment Checker solution would give you some good insight into this process, although it does not use the OnAccept event; it uses the OnSend event.
We will send you the source code by email.

October 18, 2012 at 4:37 pm in reply to: ATG Creator hangs at “postprocessing” and won’t export GW Archive #9855The other option in addition to the suggestion above is to run Archive To Go as the administrator. This will provide the application with the rights to access any folder.

Unfortunately we are not sure why this is happening and appears likely that it may be a Registry related issue.
We are working on releasing Formativ 2.6 this week, which provides improved GroupWise 2012 compatibility. However, from the symptoms you describe, it is unlikely that the changes in 2.6 will rectify the problem you are a seeing. This is a heads-up just in case you can avoid rolling out Formativ twice in short succession.
On the new machines, does it help if the first time you run the GroupWise 2012 client, you run it as administrator, then close and restart the GroupWise client?

Hi Rolf,
Thanks very much for the additional information, which should help troubleshoot the cause. While we were not notified of GroupWise C3PO changes at this level, it is quite possible that something has changed in the GroupWise 2012 client which has broken one of their APIs.
We will use this information when reviewing the outstanding changes required for GroupWise 2012 and also notify Novell at that time. We will let you know once we learn of the cause and the anticipated solution.

Hi Ralf,
Thanks very much for the detailed response. We’ll see if we can replicate the issue prior to finalizing the GW 2012 Formativ update. As we have not been advised by Novell of an API change which may precipitate this issue, the resolution may eventually involve collaboration with the GroupWise engineering team, particularly if it happens to be an inadvertent change to the GroupWise APIs.
In the mean time, to help isolate the issue to the XML processing, can you try OpenNewUserMsg without the XML and advise us of the result?

Hi Rolf,
Thanks for your message. Yes, there is a plan. Unfortunately, for a range of reasons, the project timeline has extended well beyond our expectations. The release of our Advansys RecollX for Skype product in the next two weeks will enable us to diversify into a growing market, which in turn will help us to continue servicing the changing GroupWise market.

Hi Tim,
quote:Back in Feb you said that it would be some 6 weeks until the 2012 support would be confirmed and the new version release…Yes, we thought that at the time, apologies for the delay. Now that the trusted API issue is solved by Novell, we hope to address this next month after our RecollX product is released. If you need further background, please feel free to write directly to support(AT)advansyscorp.com.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for your message. Recently we were worked with Novell and another customer to determine what caused this problem. The solution is that Novell updated the gwtapp.dll file (GroupWise Trusted Application dll) for GroupWise 2012. We will be creating a specific GroupWise 2012 installer soon, which will include this file. In the mean time, you can download the latest Novell gwtapp.dll from our site:
http://beta.advansyscorp.com/gw2012/gwtapp.dll
Please replace the existing GWTApp.dll file located in the Archive To Go program folder (C:Program Files (x86)AdvansysArchive To Go or C:Program FilesAdvansysArchive To Go) with the new gwtapp.dll file. Please note that Novell has not tested this update with GroupWise client versions prior to 2012 and it is not guaranteed to work with any other version than 2012.
Please let us know if this solves your problem.

Hi Sonja, we’ll contact you directly and work out the best licensing arrangement for your rollout.

Hi Sonja, thanks for your question. As this is a specific installation issue which relates to licensing, we’ll contact you directly.
From a compatibility standpoint, the main issue relates to running 2.0.x on Windows 7, for which it is not designed.
