…did all that…to no avail. Yes, I applied the appropriate GW update as described in the Novell technote/TID, and the Formativ install recognized the update. So, I can only assume this is not the problem…

I’ve since uninstalled all the Formativ stuff and installed a demo of Nexic Symphony. I don’t imagine that they will run concurrently (???) Let me know, so I can make the necessary adjustment. I sure hope I can get this to work. Formativ seems like a much more feature rich application, but Nexic has so far been much less traumatic out of the box…
