Any way to edit the today view applet?

Hi,

is there any way to edit the today view? I query a pop3 e-Mail account and i get all the messages in a folder with subfolders (order by filters). Is there a way to add a section wich showes me the subjects and the e-mailmail of the sender from the last new emails?

That would be very nice and practiable!

Maybe anyonw know how… Its locked source i think because its crypted code… Am I right?
