Add_Signature with image

I have created a signature with a gif image and when we send email within our GroupWise system the signature is correct. If I send to anyone outside our domain the image appears as a separate attachment. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to make sure the image is remote. Which version of GroupWise client are you running (see Help – About GroupWise)?

We are using Groupwise 7.0.1 and we have added the gif file to one of our remote servers and when we send an email to an exchange server the email received has a text.htm and an image attached.

I am not sure whether it is Exchange server related issue. May be you should send the email to another GroupWise server and see the difference.

Hi,

we insert a complete html file with the function

call Groupwise.Retrieve 

when the event OnCompose occurs. So the image is sending with the whole email.
If you want sending a animated gif you need the newest gw-client! I use at the moment 7.0.3b. If you use a older version the effect you described, inside Groupwise you see the image outgoing mails not occurs.
