Personalized Mass Email applet – major work required

Could you please look at the mass email applet with a level of urgency?

In GW6.5 environments its just about impossible to use it for mail shots with attachments. Also as I noted before its use of address books, instead of groups also limits it value greatly.

Could you not just use a created email from within GroupWise as the template (attachments and all).

In fact, the design of Personalized Mass Email is under review right now. We look forward to releasing a new version of this solution very soon.

Could you also look at releasing the code for the current release. This way I could use it to code a solution that does work in our environment. This module is the reason why we purchased the Solution Pack (and Formativ in general). At the moment I have problems justify the investment due to these issues.

I am not saying that there is any issue with the overall product. Its just that this pre-coded module is key to us and a major problem.

The source code for all existing solutions is avaiulable for purchase. I can’t seem to locate your email address in the support forum member database, so if you would like to send a message to sales@advansyscorp.com explaining what you would like to do, I’m sure something could be negotiated.
