Hi Support,
After reading this thread I have discovered that this is the reason that I can no longer define the system using ver. 2.0. We have approx. 170 domains in different e-dir trees all over the world. Some of them are in very remote hard to communicate with locations. Simultaneous connection to each domain/tree is not practical let alone entirely possible.
Is there another way that I would be able to define my system?TIA,
SueHi,
I had submitted a product enhancement request for this feature as well.
Best regards,
Sue Clement
UNHCRAdditional information:
Installed message-view on 2 pc’s
One pc with GroupWise client ver. 7.0.3 build 1068 dated 09/06/2008 can successfully view the forwarded embedded messages.
Other pc with GroupWise client ver. 7.0.3 build 976 dated 08/03/2008 cannot view the forwarded embedded messages. All users 10,000+ worldwide using version build number 976, and cannot be easily upgraded to newer version as they are distributed trees and need to be installed by local IT staff in the field. This is not practical.
Tried another archive without the updated viewer and indexer and can view the forwarded embedded messages on build 1068.
I also tried to copy the groupwise view files to the older build but this had no positive effect.

Sue[This message was edited by clement on August 27, 2009 at 07:07 AM.]
Dear Support,
Here is a response from my user….
“I tried another account, on another computer with clean standard configuration and the same problem … Viewer doesn’t start…it simply aborts on attempt to run.. so I can’t view any archive that I have created so far… “
Do you have any advice? We have not seen this before either and have other field offices using the software/viewer successfully.
Regards,
Sue -
