We haven’t had any report about this issue and unable to reproduce the behaviour in-house.
– Which version of the GroupWise client you are running (See Help – About GroupWise)?
– Can you reproduce the behaviour in another machine/account?Optionally, you can enter proxy User ID to the edit box, you can view the User ID from the Address Book. Select a user, choose Details from right mouse context menu, Advance Tab and view User ID. You can also add User ID to the Address Book column view.
Regards,
Advansys SupportAt the link below you can download a console application which restores the VBS association and turns off the Formativ ‘disable associations’ settings. As always, please test it on one or two machines before using it globally.
http://www.advansyscorp.com/download/vbsas.zip
This setting is controlled by the registry entry: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAdvansys Corporationformativ1.0Settings
Value Name: ‘Redirect Associations’
Value: 00 = Do not redirect associations.
This controls the ‘checking’ of the redirection each time GroupWise starts up. As you may have done already, you need to ensure the VBS associations are already re-enabled via the Formativ Control Panel Applet.
Best Regards,
Advansys SupportGreat news. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Regards,
Advansys SupportThese errors appear to be rather unusual, may be the application configuration files is corrupted. Are you using Enterprise or Local modes? Which version of GroupWise Client are you using? Did Archive To Go work correctly on the same workstation and GroupWise account?
I would recommend the following initial steps. Please note that you will need to reconfigure your system for Enterprise mode or use Local mode.
– Rename the folder: “C:Documents and Settings[Windows Username]Application DataAdvansysArchive To Go” to something else, like “C:Documents and SettingsBill SmithApplication DataAdvansysArchive To Go.bak”. This folder contains the configuration files for Archive To Go and to preserve your settings.
Hope this helps. Please let us know how you go.

Advansys Support“Advansys Formativ Framework for .NET” should be present on ARP. We haven’t had any report about this issue. It could be environmental, you may need to restart the machine. Can you reproduce this behaviour on another machine?
Regards,
Advansys SupportThanks, we have added this request to our enhancement database.
Regards,
Advansys SupportCan you reproduce same behaviour with the GroupWise client (i.e. field name exists on reply message but not on sent/received messages)?
If you able to reproduce, please send us the information requested earlier (i.e. sample messages, Formativ configuration).
Regards,
Advansys SupportInteresting findings, good luck with it.
Regards,
Advansys SupportThanks for your feedback. Importing large number of contacts can slow down process.
We are not aware about that Outlook client need to be running when migrating data, I have forwarded your comments to engineers for future review.
Regards,
Advansys SupportDoes the reply message with field name sent from Blackberry or GroupWise client? We will investigate once we received the sample messages.
Regards,
Advansys SupportJust to make it clear from you post above:
– Personalized email sent correctly to BlackBerry. Can you confirm in Sent Items, field name replaced by data?
– Reply from the BlackBerry, shows the field name instead of the data.It could be BlackBerry issue. Unfortunately, we do not have the BlackBerry to test in-house. Could you please “Forward As Attachment” the original personalized message which was sent to BlackBerry and the reply message from the BlackBerry to Support (support@advansyscorp.com).
Please send us your Formativ Configuration, you can obtain the configuration by selecting Help | About Formativ… from the GroupWise main menu. When the About Formativ dialog appears, go to the Configuration tab and click the button Copy to clipboard. Then paste the text into your reply email (or save it to a plain-text file and include it as an attachment).
Could you also let us know solution version number (see Help – About).

The issue could be relate to the MAPI Configuration. Do you have the Outlook profile defined under Mail services?
See the following section from the Users Guide about MAPI.
quote:
There are well known MAPI configuration issues when running both the GroupWise client and Outlook on the same workstation. Prior to migration, prevent Outlook using the Novell MAPI default settings by configuring the Outlook client to prompt on startup for the MAPI profile to be used.
You can configure this behavior in the Outlook client under Options | Mail Services | Prompt for a profile to be used. On Windows 2000 or above, you can also set this option by using the Windows Control Panel | Mail | Show Profiles, “When starting Microsoft Outlook, use this profile:” Prompt for a profile to be used. When Outlook starts and prompts you for the profile, select the appropriate one to connect to your Outlook data.

Advansys SupportThanks, we have sent the work-around via email.

Advansys Support“frmMain.Show” method will show the dialog and continue to the next line. However, the applet execute as model thus you will not able to swith back to the window (i.e. GroupWise client/portal) until the applet complete.
Does your application display the “Review Process Report” form when you create the portal?
Another thought, you could add a “Print” button to your report html then your applet display the portal and exit. Your user view the portal (i.e. portal will have the focus) and when they ready to print then they can press the Print button which will execute your applet again to show the “Review Process Report” form.
You will need to follow the steps below to call the applet from the portal.
Step 1: Add the button html to the Portal html
<INPUT TYPE="HIDDEN" NAME="formativapplet" VALUE="c:Documents and Settingsuser-nameMy DocumentsAdvansysFormativAppletsmyapplet.vbf"><INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" NAME="printBtn" VALUE="Print">
Applet code to create the button html
iBtnHtml = " <INPUT TYPE=""HIDDEN"" NAME=""formativapplet"" VALUE=""" & utilities.currentappletname & """><INPUT TYPE=""SUBMIT"" NAME=""printBtn"" VALUE=""Print"">" msgbox iBtnHtml
Step 2: Make sure the Portal.RunApplets is set to true
oPortal.ID = "test" oPortal.TabCaption = "CQQ" oPortal.RunApplets = TRUE
Step 3: When the Print button pressed from the Portal and the applet execute then you will need to identify whether the applet executed by the portal.
Sub Main(Client, GWEvent) ' What mode are we being executed in? if (GWEvent = "HTML_TRIGGER") then ' display the Review Process Report form else ' Create the portal end if End SubFor reference, you can review our cool solution Today View which uses the technique above.
Hope this helps.
