I am not sure whether it is Exchange server related issue. May be you should send the email to another GroupWise server and see the difference.
Please see below the source of a message which contains a remote image:
<DIV style="BACKGROUND-POSITION: center center; BACKGROUND-IMAGE: url(http://www.advansyscorp.com/images/powered-by-formativ.gif); WIDTH: 100px; BACKGROUND-REPEAT: no-repeat; HEIGHT: 45px"></DIV>
Hope this helps.

You need to make sure the image is remote. Which version of GroupWise client are you running (see Help – About GroupWise)?
Regards,
Advansys SupportTechnically your requirements seems do-able.
On a separate note, we have recently developed FML Extractor utility which extract the Advansys FML file (FML file is created by the Advansys Message Saver or Archive To Go product) and save the message body as html and all file attachments into a subfolder. The idea behind for this utility is to take advantage of any indexing product and index the extracted contents.
For each exported GroupWise message (Advansys FML file), this utilitiy produce a single html file which contains all the core details of the top level message and any embedded messages (i.e. message type attachments). Any file attachments would be stored in a sub-folder with the composite message text file and all message file attachments (saved out separately). Core html file will have reference back to the original FML file and all attachments (so that you can open the original FML file or any file attachments by clicking the reference).
Let us know if this utility meets your requirements.

Advansys SupportJust to make sure we are looking at the same page. Have you looked the following URL? This URL stated that Formativ Admin tools used in conjunction with Formativ Studio (see the bold section below). Please let us know if you have seen in-correct information in another page.

Formativ Admin Tools
Used in conjunction with Formativ Studio, the Formativ Admin Tools provide the eDirectory/NDS administration software for managing Formativ eDirectory objects. To make enterprise management easy, Advansys has developed both ConsoleOne and NWAdmin snapins to administer the Formativ eDirectory objects. These tools are used in preparation for managing applets with Formativ Studio. In the Formativ Studio Guide, see the Installing eDirectory Administration Tools section on how these snapins are installed. The use of these snapins is described in the sections under Formativ eDirectory Objects.

Regards,
Advansys SupportThanks for your feedback. I have requested the person in charge to review the web page.
Regards,
Advansys SupportThanks for providing the configuraion.
It appear that you have Formativ Runtime installed which is a low cost framework for running an unlimited number of secure Formativ solutions for GroupWise.
Formativ Studio allows you to manage, create and run an unlimited number of Formativ solutions for GroupWise. Formativ Studio enables authorized users publish Applets to Applet Libraries in eDirectory, and edit Applets stored in eDirectory Applet Libraries. These Applet libraries may then be made available to users within the organization.
In a nutshell, you need the Formativ Studio to manage the eDirectory and Formativ Runtime for your user to run the published applets. You can take advantage of the Formativ packages available which is a bundle designed for smaller enterprises (i.e. Formativ Enterprise, Formativ Small Business) .
Hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

Advansys SupportWhich version of Formativ you are running (i.e. Studio, Creator, Runtime, etc)?
Could you send the Formativ configuration to support@advansyscorp.com. You can obtain the configuration by selecting Help | About Formativ… from the GroupWise main menu. When the About Formativ dialog appears, go to the Configuration tab and click the button Copy to clipboard. Then paste the text into your reply email (or save it to a plain-text file and include it as an attachment).
Regards,
Advansys SupportWe have had a couple of similar reports but we could not reproduce the issue in-house.
What MAPI mail services and profiles do you have configured? Do you have Outlook configured to prompt you for the profile to be used so that it does not by default use the GroupWise profile? You can configure Outlook to prompt for the profile by choosing Tools | Options | Mail Services and select the option Prompt for a profile to be used.
You can search the forum for the previous post about this issue. Here are some earlier response:

Regards,
Advansys SupportSeems like a bug in GroupWise client 7 or later version. We need to confirm this behaviour and inform Novell about the bug. You can also post a message into the Novell Object API forum: http://forums.novell.com/category/developer.tpt

Advansys SupportFebruary 26, 2007 at 2:45 pm in reply to: Print message: wrong character set with Internet Explorer 7 #8371It appear that, if a HTML page does not contains the META tag then IE7 uses the default character set defined on the system. The current version of the Print Message applet does not allow you to specify the META tag. I have added an enhancement request (#582) against this solution to add string resources constants to set the META tag so that end user can update the applet source to set the meta tag.
Here is some additional information about the META tag: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/928847
